Pink and Gold Wedding Cake Inspiration

30 Nov

Good Morning Belles!

Today we thought we would share with you some wedding cakes we love as inspiration for a huge wedding we are working on. The bride wants a pink cake. Yes, you read that right, she wants a PINK WEDDING CAKE to go with her pink, coral and gold wedding. Here are a few that we love!

A light pink cake still looks bridal without being totally nontraditional, but adds a personal, fun touch.

We love this look! A little over the top but so fabulous!

And speaking of over the top:

Maybe an all pink cake may be a little too nontraditional. Adding accents of pink can give you the same fun pink pop while keeping the tradition of a white wedding cake!

A traditional white wedding cake gets a fun update with gold foil add-ons and a strip of pink for fun!

Adding fresh flowers to a plain cake can really make a beautiful statement and tends to be budget friendly. Don’t you just love this floral cake?

So what do you think? Would you ever have a pink wedding cake? We would love to hear from you!

Tasteful Bachelorette Party Ideas!

28 Nov

Hi Belles!

With all the weddings that have been going on lately we’ve been doing alot of thinking outside of the box about bachelorette party ideas! Not every bride’s style includes going to strip clubs, (leave that one to the boys) but every gal wants to have a good time .

Here’s some fun ideas to turn your last time being single into a lasting memory with your girls!

If partying all night isn’t your thing, try a spa day! A spa bachelorette party can be as elaborate or as simple as you want it!  Classic spa activities include: massages, mani/pedis, facials…basically anything relaxing. If your on a budget try an at home spa party. If you really want to up the ante , book a hotel suite and have the staff come to you. Whatever you choose, incorporate fun, themed snacks into the mix!

How cute are these spa mask cookies?

If you want something a little more exciting than a day at the spa and you happen to live somewhat close to a beach or other fun location, then try a weekend girls’ getaway! Think of it as a mini spring break! What bride wouldn’t love to spend a weekend at a beach with her leading ladies? Make the weekend complete with party cups!

Cute invitations set the tone for the weekend!

Girl’s trip to the beach! Doesn’t this look divine!

If you’re planning on staying local and checking out the bar scene around town, make the night special with a costume theme! 80’s themed, pin up, Jersey Shore…whatever your girls will have the most fun with! Wig’s are fun and a great way to draw attention to your party! Your group will be the star of the night!

For DeShae’s bachelorette party last month we went down to New Orleans. DeShae had everyone dress up in nautical themed outfits! All the girls wore navy and red with little sailor hats with “Bridesmate” written on the front. Here’s a few shots from the night, all PG of course. We were the hit of bourbon street! One on looker even said “There’s that bachelorette party every has been talking about!” Night=Success

The bride and her mates! The hats were a big hit!

Sailor Cake! Perfect for a nautical theme! And just as yummy as it was cute!

What a fun night! We hope you found these ideas helpful. If not, there’s always Vegas!

We’d love to hear from you! What did you do for your bachelorette party?

Wedding candy bars!

7 Nov

Good morning Belles!!

Today’s post is all about CANDY BARS! This new trend is becoming more and more popular at weddings these days, and rightfully so!  These bars are a great treat (literaly) for your guests and are tons of fun for kids and adults alike!

Candy bars are also  an easy DIY.  Two Belles recently set up a candy bar at DeShae’s wedding and it was a hit! More on that in a later post.

In the mean time here’s some candy bar eye candy  to inspire  your own event!

Beautiful Gold and Pink Candy Bar

Two Belles is obsessed with this candy bar! It’s so elegant and fun at the same time! A good rule of thumb to really make your candy bar beautiful is to showcase candy in your wedding colors! Also have a mixture of tall and shorter vases to add depth to the table!

Sassy Black and White Candy Bar

How fun is this black and white candy bar? Don’t be afraid to think out of the box and incorporate some different elements on your big day! The wooden LOVE sign shows the mood of the event and the black feathers showcase this bride’s funky side!

All out GLAMOUR! Black and White Candy Bar

Who wouldn’t love this black and white glamour candy bar!! This is a perfect example how different touches can change the entire feel of the table!  Substitute sequins and feathers for classic white flowers and all black vases and you get a showstopper!

So you think candy bars are only for weddings?? Think again. Candy bars can be fun for fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties…you name it!
